Sarune Kleivaite-Erickson is a fashion lover, coffee admirer and partner in crime of Mellow. gand. She’s a big fan of travels, adventures, food, plants, French bulldogs and BLACK color. Sarune moved to Barcelona from Vilnius, Lithuania three years ago, where she did a master’s degree in fashion design and marketing, then started a fashion blog @in_black_label meanwhile working for one of the top fashion brands in the world. At the moment she’s learning to sew, because everyone is wearing Zara, yet can’t afford that Celine shirt.
What is a woman’s best friend?
To me, it’s adventures and new experiences to keep you alive and full of stories to tell.

Not a fan of any kind of body trends. Forget the thigh gaps; be proud of your body.
Do you consider yourself stylish or fashionable?
I’d like to think of myself as stylish, because I wear what I like and think looks good on me, not what’s on a mannequin in a clothing store.
What inspires you to live, learn and feel fulfilled?
Travels and adventures. There’s nothing else in the world that gives me such an adrenaline rush as traveling. That feeling of going to an unknown place gives me goose bumps. It motivates me to go to work and work hard to get my paycheck and get on a plane.
What do you think is courage? What is the bravest thing you have ever done in your life?
To me, courage is leaving your comfort zone and risking your security for your dreams. The bravest thing I’ve ever done was moving across the ocean to another country for love, which was totally worth it!
How do you think courage reflects in fashion?
Courage in fashion is standing for what you actually believe in. If you believe that crop tops for men are a genius idea, stand up for it, because eventually people will believe it too. People love seeing other people being passionate about something.
What’s your favorite phrase to live by?
Live in the moment.
What would you like to wish, tell or advise to every girl?
Believe in yourself, be passionate about something, work hard, have fun and live to tell stories.
